Oh My Dear.
I have abandoned my precious little blog and I feel horrible about it. Not that anyone had been greatly disturbed by my absence but I can't expect this little blossom to bloom if I'm not posting, now can I? No. The answer is No. February flew by faster than I can even explain. I blame all that Leap Year nonsense and the lack of the very important 29th, 30th and even a 31st. I don't know about you but I could have used a few more days in the month. Now here we are, already the 4th of March and nothing to show on here for February. Oh, well. It can be summed up in one line:
Work. Sleeping. Saturday classes. Birthdays. Bad couches. Hair fixes. That's it.
SPEAKING OF WORK......
New and exciting things are happening in the MNI world and I am beyond excited to be a part of them all. New opportunities to grow, learn, and flourish! I cannot wait to help direct and be part of the office life at the new facility. It really makes a girl feel good to be allowed to be involved in something so exciting and new. Yay for growing! Yay for the new children we will meet! Yay for awesome bosses who have what it takes to succeed!
Saturday TECTA classes on the other hand....eww. I was not made to be up before 8 am much less already be sitting in class at this time. Seriously, though. Thank you Jesus for Starbucks. My current obsession is the Caramel Apple Spice. OH YES.
My little brother, daddy, and older sister all celebrated their birthdays in February. My dad and brother are going to the Bristol races in mid-March to celebrate (late!) and then at the end of March my parents, brother and I are going to see Eric Clapton, along with The Wallflowers, in concert. INSERT SCREECH OF ABSOLUTE EXCITEMENT!
We finally got a couch for the living room. It would not fit in to our apartment. No way. No angle. Not through the front door. Not through the back. Not through the window. I wanted to set the thing on fire. End of story. It's still too painful.
My hair is back dark again. I will never ever try to put highlights or red in it again. UNLESS I get my blonde streak back. That's another story though. It was a terrible idea to do the red. Ugh. Fail.
I promise to post more. I really do. *Cross your fingers*
Big Love, -M
