February is here. BAM.
Also, today is my wittle baby brother's 18th birthday! I don't know how it is possible for the crying little curly, blonde headed boy that use to terrorize me to be an 18 year old boy/man. It blows my mind.
Here is little precious back in the day. Too cool for preschool I'm guessing. This boy was OBSESSED with his motorcycle jacket and was so proud to have one that resembled Daddy's. And here we are today:
He is driving me around in his Miata, looking fresh. *Note our matching gray v-neck t-shirts we were sporting, on accident.
ANYWAYS...
This past week has been super busy. I worked the morning class at work Mon-Wednesday this week and I took a nap every day after work. Didn't matter if I got home at 3:30 or 5:30...NAP. It was lovely. Thursday I ended up waking up at 7 am on my own *gag* and somehow managed a productive morning. I headed to Barnes & Noble to grab a white chocolate mocha and read some crafty books on my Nook. I found my next B&N purchase, an awesome sewing book. Fingers crossed that someone wants to get it for me...hint, hint.
At lunch I grabbed some Jason's Deli and headed over to have lunch with my friend. Y'all, if you haven't tried the chicken salad there you are MISSING OUT. It has almonds and tons of pineapple in it, which may make you question my sanity but it's delicious.
Then on Friday we got a rare dusting of snow, which sends the people of Tennessee running like chickens with their heads cut off. SNOW DAYYYYYYY! Full day of child care for us! I think i was more excited about the snow than the kids. It warms my heart and makes me soooo happy! I want to live where it snows all the time.
I've spent my Saturday doing a lot of reading and surfing through Pinterest, making brownies and cleaning out the hall closet. The excitement is just too much to handle, you guys.
XOXO- M
